Did the children raped by Priests decades ago need corroboration? Did all the young gymnast molested by Larry Nassar over decades need corroboration? Ford was a child when it happened. Children victims rarely have corroboration.

I think her testimony was very powerful. I think if members of the @GOP were interested in fairness they’d call more witnesses. I also don’t think at this point Kavanaugh merits any appointment. He’s too partisan. The process has become too partisan. Surely there’s better choices

Dearest deeply beloved magazine, You have lost your way. Please get back behind fundamental human rights like the rule of law, freedom of speech, and core values in the Enlightenment. I miss you so much as a voice of balance, fairness, reason in these tribal times.

And by no stretch was she in this all alone. Not even close.

Everyone else’s does in a criminal case. She accuses the judge of a crime. The term, “burden of proof” uses the word burden for a reason.

No it does not. She was a competent witness testifying on the basis of personal knowledge.

An allegation required corroboration. #ChristineBlaseyFord provided NO EVIDENCE and her witnesses debunked her story.

Yes it does for a rational person to make a judgement of guilt or innocence , no it does not for someone processing a previous unrelated trauma to project that trauma onto this situation and really the world

In contract law, it is tantamount to a real estate seller preventing a buyer from getting an ALTA survey in order to procure financing so that he or she may purchase the property...but then keeping the deposit because the buyer couldn't "perform" based on the seller's own conduct
