Embedded in the histrionics in Brett Kavanaugh's opening statement were the unmistakable notes of fury and bullying.http://nyer.cm/uVNxse8

Embedded in the histrionics of the New Yorkers entire narrative were the unmistakable notes of a liberal ideology completely void of innovative ideas to help the American people, particularly their core constituents, reducing them to pitiful collusion with Democrat skullduggery.

Spare me. I’m from California, the bluest of blue states that despite its immense wealth & advantages leads the nation in poverty and has a corrupt public school system that is failing the very kids liberals love to boast about being the champions of.https://calmatters.org/articles/data-exclusive-75-of-black-california-boys-dont-meet-reading-standards/ …

Wrong! I’m from Texas and the poverty rate is higher there than CA. Also, non-whites are 3 times more likely to fall into poverty. Liberal views are not the problem. The problem comes from unethical human beings who are just looking out for their wealth.

What we are seeing is a model of American conservative masculinity that has become popular in the past few years, one that is directly tied to the loutish, aggressive frat-boy persona that Kavanaugh is purportedly seeking to dissociate himself from. #ToxicMasculinity

Oh, that bodes well for a Supreme Court justice. . . . Seriously???? This was the BEST nominee they could find?!??!? I don't believe it.

#Kavanaugh was truly bully-boy, adolescent-like, all the way through. It was surreal to watch a judge and SC nominee behave this way. Then I remembered: Ah, yes. Trump.

Yep.....Trump chose him, Trump loves all the characteristics in a person , which moral people don't like! Kavanaugh is Trump's creation, and kavanaugh is so immoral he will do and be anything Trump requires.

There was nothing "embedded" about that statement. Not an ounce of it was subtle, all of it was accusation, and the only histrionics were of rage, not sadness or innocent disbelief. Anyone who's ever been on the receiving end of a cis white male teenager's anger recognized it.

To pretend that opening statement had any point other than expressing the incredulous rage of an overindulged spoilt man and aiming it at the persons responsible for questioning his right to accumulate more power grants Kavanaugh and the GOP he represents undeserved innocence.
