Testify. I read this a few years ago, and still come back to it time and again, if only to appreciate the profound benefit of foresight into our future. EVERYONE should read it. EVERYONE should heed it. Excellent piece.

This kept me up for a week after I read it the first time. Kept a stocked earthquake kit and start counting as soon as there’s shaking ever since. Excellent read.

This came out right before my wife and I went on our honeymoon on the west coast and spent 2 weeks driving up and down the fault. I didn’t tell her about the article until we flew back to NY 🤐

Living in Seattle, this article had one of the most profound outcomes of starting earthquake preparedness. I think people finally starting getting it. I've got my ever growing kit ready, but who knows if it will be accessible.

This is one of the most frightening articles I’ve read & one of the best written. I grew up there & vividly remember the ‘64 Alaska quake. A geography prof a told us several years ago that Mt Rainier may blow in our lifetime.
