I loved Larry Norman. He was a true iconoclast. I met him one time and he admired the suede fringed jacket I was wearing. I’m sorry to hear he died in obscurity. I admired him and his music.

Cool piece. I’m rather fond of the All Saved Freak Band albums featuring the incredible Glenn Schwartz on lead guitar (who preceded Joe Walsh in the James Gang). Also, “After Forever” by Black Sabbath is about as heavy as Christian rock can get (never mind that joke Stryper!) ;-p

Black Sabbath - Christian Rock?

hmmm, dunno, Ridah. -
Don’t forget: all four members wore crucifixes (individually made by Ozzy’s father) and they took their name from the British horror film. As for “After Forever” - well, you tell me... Have you ever thought about your soul can it be saved? (con’t) 1/pic.twitter.com/ooxAzcvT1l

You da man. When it comes to music, I defer! My fave Black Sabbath tune was sweet leaf.

Brilliant tune. Sabbath changed my life. I like them with both Ozzy and Dio...hell, I even like some of the stuff with Gillian. This tune w/Dio started to sound really prophetic in 2016 - the lyrics are extremely relevant to the here and now...https://youtu.be/owJJQgt_jgs
