As reporters have investigated Kavanaugh’s high-school years, many alumni have expressed fear about going on the record and alienating themselves from a close-knit community.http://nyer.cm/JAGuu1y

How natural that there should be a link between Kavanaugh’s buddies and the Swift Boat PR firm! If Mr. Doppelgänger cares to file suit for defamation/civil RICO, there could a whole raft of defendants. The more deep pockets, the merrier!

This is why violence against women can't be won, people are concerned with belonging than with securing women safety.

Kavanaugh's fellow alumni don't want to talk about what a hard partying cad he was. I call it the White Privilege Wall of Silence.

It is not impressive to me, as a Christian, that these men are keeping their mouths shut on sexual assault in order to retain friendships with morally corrupt individuals.

What happens in elite schools stays in elite schools. Imagine the humiliation of having to work and socialize with regular people. How could the alumni ever handle the trauma?

"The boy's club" is schools, government, small towns, the work place. We all understand this to be true. It protects men. It abuses women. Men are protected because they are/were "just boys." Women are ignored, berated, threatened because their value is less in our patriarchy.

I grew up in the DC area and went to a public high school. As such I am well aware of the sense of entitlement and often downright disdain which the prep school kids had for the rest of us. I used to hear stories like the present one fairly often...

At Kavanaugh's intro, we got a proletarian story: Mom, a public school teacher, he worked in soup kitchens, and the most vetted nominee, ever. The truth is he was a scion of privilige, his Father, an attorney and lobbyist; so much is hidden of this most vetted nominee.Disquieting

This article shows how to quickly jump from flimsy assumptions to shaky conclusions. Anonymous "sources" of an anti Trump publications, drinking leads to rape, frat-boy antics lead to criminal activity etc. With this logic, if you grew up in Chicago you must have shot someone.
