You mean hurricanes? Since they’re such a new phenomenon

-
Maybe they're referring to the Antarctic ice core studies that confirm thousands of years of temperature data, or maybe the Mauna Loa research that's measured temperature and carbon dioxide since the 1950s, or multiple ocean floor carbon tests, or computer models...or...
-
Or it could be one of a half dozen other studies that all agree remarkably well with each other. 1. Carbon levels and temperature levels started going up together as the internal combustion engine got popular. 2. Global tempas are higher than they've been in thousands of years
-
3. The chemical makeup of the CO2 confirms that it's man-made. All those other consequences..higher sea level, melting ice caps, melting glaciers, warming ocean temperatures, more severe hurricanes....those all just confirm what science already knows, and GOP doesn't.
-
I think that's what they're referring to, Janna. You can deny the science all you want, but that doesn't mean it isn't there. The hurricanes don't PROVE climate change, but they're one of many phenomena that confirm agreement with the science...(not politics).
-
I’m not saying climate change isn’t happening...just that hurricanes pre-date it. They pretty much pre-date Trump, too.
-
Climate science predicts that hurricanes will get more frequent and severe as temperatures rise. That’s exactly what’s happening. It’s just more evidence that pretending it’s all a liberal plot just isn’t working. Nor is pretending it’s part of the natural ebb and flow.
-
It’s trump’s watch now. GOP and trump won’t even admit climate change exists, let alone do something about it. Guess what, GOP’s kids are going to inherit those consequences along with everybody else. It’s not politics. It’s survival.

I'm taking your word for it and using my last free article this month, and it's only the 17th.

Because hurricanes are a new thing? Boston Mayor constantly harping about rising oceans, but unprecedented coastal development in the City. Most on landfill. Rising oceans versus Ocean reclamation?

Here’s the thing. It doesn’t matter what SS thinks. She doesn’t set policy. Her job is to speak on behalf of the President. The Press Knows this and asks because they Know she shouldn’t and won’t answer

This administration is a national embarrassment. I'm from Kansas City. FYI.

I avoid her as much as possible. I might be ready to read something about her in about 10 years - but now.
