EOE is not always easily treated. It is autoimmune disease that can be extremely hard to get under control. Children and adults suffer for years trying to manage flare ups or just eating a daily meal. The stress and anxiety alone causes its own headaches.

You’re right. It’s not easy to treat. There are limited options and a lot of trial and error. However, at least having a diagnosis has been a relief in itself, for me. Which I guess where my sense of “ease” comes from.

absolutely agree. The time not knowing what was wrong and being called "overdramatic" was extremely challenging. It affected everything in my life. A lot of trial and error and painful days until my triggers were found.
