If a democracy is only as strong as & a reflection of the quality & outcomes of its education system, are the ideals of democracy & capitalism then irreconcilable? How can we overcome ignorance when those in power depend on a low-educated, low-wage workforce to maximize profit?

Agreed. #Trump targeted the most ignorant & angry #Americans, knowing they would be easily duped by his vile populist rhetoric. His base of #TheWorstOfAmerica continue to be conned by this horrid man. He truly loves the uneducated, xenophobic, racist #America that enables him.

Plato was correct! His solution was flawed, as was Hume’s, Locke’s, Mill’s and Jefferson’s. Kurt Godel-world’s greatest logician-noted to Einstein upon reading the US constitution for his citizenship examination-that there were a half dozen paths to dictatorship within the text!

oh please, if we were a democracy, hillary would be president and the country would be in war and poverty. trump was elected because we are a republic which is way better than a democracy. Now we are prospering. you are the one that has been conned. trump is the real deal.
