Lenny was a phenomenon. Steeped in classical and yet so thoroughly modern and diverse that he was familiar with all idioms from rock to blues to jazz and electronic music. He composed part of the score to West Side Story as well as classical pieces. I miss him so.

Nobody is waiting for another Lenny simply because it’s like waiting for another Mozart. There’s no schedule for their arrival or departure!

Nice, but a bit surprised you didn't mention anything about LB's student Marin Alsop & BSO's UK and Ireland tour with its well-received performances (encores and standing ovations) of Bernstein's music and the celebration of his 100th!
