Like you, Mr. Beller, this theatre changed the way I thought about film. Seeing Stranger Than Paradise here opened my eyes to Cinema as opposed to movies. I love both, because of the Talbots.

I loved that place when I lived in the city.
Also, Victor Nunez’s A Flash of Green is an under appreciated gem made under the much missed American Playhouse banner.
I am going to take some time to watch it again, thank you for your comments.
Like Nunez's Ruby in Paradise (Grand Jury Prize 1993 Sundance) and Gal Young'n (NY Film Festival) A Flash of Green does not exist on DVD. It's a shame Criterion doesn't put out some of his films.
