The @nytimes knows who wrote the anonymous Op-Ed, which changes the position that this newspaper holds in our democracy, @mashagessen writes.http://nyer.cm/wYSlYrl

Thank you saying what I was thinking. What becomes terrifying clear from the op-ed piece is their unwillingness to remove Trump from office because they would lose their power to rule out nation unchecked and as they see fit. A dangerous game to play.

I'd like to know who is running the country. We know the Republican Congress does nothing to curb executive branch abuses. Are "the generals" making the decisions? Are we in the middle of a coup?

This article points out that an anonymous person cannot govern the people. What is interesting about that assertion is that our elected official are allowed to input language anonymously into Bills being passed by Congress.

I read the total article. I disagree with the premise Anonymous should declare itself. I disagree on the point that remaining anonymous ,subverts its own intent. I disagree with the point that NYT is complicit in the "sin " and "corruption" of maintaining Anonymity..😶

an excellent piece. the media are also corrupted when they wrap trump's former campaign manager in legitimacy by inviting him to speak at their events. (even if they disinvite him later under public pressure.)

I think they ALL wrote it & submitted it as the work of one staffer. They know Trump is demented. They want to keep a Repub in office. They want to convince us that crazy POTUS is contained & surrounded by responsible adults & that the Republican agenda is being carried out.
