@NewYorker I’ve been trying to log in with passcode sent to subscribers for presale but keep getting “Incorrect Password” error message whether I type it in or copy and paste since 11am ET when link went live. HALP PLEASE!

I was wondering about this a few hours ago (regarding scary). My conclusion - early childhood experiences (age 0 - 5). E.g. parent who liked to frighten you then give big cuddles when you cried - you will love scary movies.

. I like sad movies if they contain a chunk of the truth honorably presented. I almost never like scary movies because they are empty calories with a flat aftertaste.
