To date, no one in the Trump Administration has been held accountable for its family-separation policy, even after evidence has steadily mounted as to its immense human costs and administrative failures. http://nyer.cm/s3s7dlm

1/ The Trump administration has committed crimes under U.S. law as well as crimes against humanity under international law. If the Nuremberg precedents continue to mean anything, everyone involved must be prosecuted and punished. Kids have been caged and forcibly drugged.

2/ At least one infant has died after being held separated from its mother. This is literally no different than what Dr. Mengele was doing in Germany! The failure of law enforcement to do anything about this is inexplicable.

3/ The failure of judges dealing with these cases to hold officials in contempt for not following orders of the court is also mystifying. When did impunity become so widespread in the U.S.? Everyone from Trump, Pence, Sessions, Miller, Nielsen, and down must be accountable!

Few Republican voters seem to care either. Empathy is sorely lacking in that corner of the electorate. As long as their freedom from high taxes, regulations and Hispanics is safe. #SeparationPolicy #ICE

Short answer, no, no one in the Trump administration will ever be held accountable for the harm done by separating immigrant children from parents. Like no one will be charged for taking away passports from Americans who are immigrants—even after they have served in our military!
