God can just be that feeling that someone who loves you is always watching. It's powerful. It doesn't have to be a humanoid being with actual feelings.

Ok, that's not bad either, but you still have to explain Santa, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy.

My parents played "Santa" every year. Everyone would deny a gift to somebody and it would be awesome. Being on a peak of a mountain of intellectual superiority to completely disregard tradition or lore is really lame. Traditions and legends stick around for complex reasons.

Not always good ones, also for complex reasons. I did enjoy hearing about your family's christmas traditions.

Uhh it's super easy if you just never tell them there is a God in the first place. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm guessing the same way you tell them there is really no Santa Claus or Easter Bunny, and at the same time they'll be so upset about Santa they won't care about god.

Santa Claus is as real as The President of the United States of America or the King of The Netherlands. And if you're going to tell me that those two things aren't real then you have problems. God however, doesn't exist.

Unfortunately the president of the United states (45) is terrifyingly real and scarier than the boogie man, or the getcha while you pee monster.

For those of us who believe in the existence of God, no proof is necessary, and for those who don’t, no proof is possible. To be honest, your book explains noting, it’s just another book
