In the Trump era, Glenn Greenwald seems to be most energized when he discovers flaws in Democratic messaging, or in the output of an MSNBC contributor: http://nyer.cm/oKR8Kob pic.twitter.com/ozlCmwMHAE

Shouldn't ALL journalists be energized when discovering flaws in either party's messaging or a reporter's output? Isn't that their job? Also, by highlighting Greenwald, are you attempting to shame him out of this professional stance? Is it lockstep time in America?

Glen Greenwald is a hollow man with an eye for aggressive criticism against the popular opinions of democratic-leaning supporters of fairness and truth. If they look like helpless prey, or conversely like girded warriors, all the more stimulation for his shallow self-promotion.

There can be republican-leaning supporters of fairness and truth, but there are damn few of them these days. GG doesn't seem to want to pick on them. The current breed of trumpistas are not republicans at all, they are cultists who are bent on protecting dear leader at any cost.

Indeed. And both deserve presidential honors. The 1st DSA President will do so, no doubt spurring centrist trash media to dig up McCain and huff his bone ash from a paper bag.

There is a place for focusing on Democratic/media messaging flaws. The Republicans and the right are what they are, but if the Democrats are diverted or misled, there's really no one left. There are already plenty of people calling out Trump 24/7, as they should.

Cracks me up seeing all the Greenwald fan boys/girls defending someone who sees a much bigger existential threat coming from Democrats than the real existential threat we are witnessing from the Republican Party. 🙄

I had several tweets of his bookmarked where he claimed Dems were a bigger threat than Republicans but Glenn seems to have conveniently deleted tens of thousand of tweets recently. 🤨

Greenwald told Matthew Yglesias recently that he was a coward for deleting a few thousand tweets. 🤔 Glenn is pissed at Dems because they're suspicious of his sudden support of Russia. And now he takes every opportunity he can to attack Dems because they hurt his feelings.
