From whose point of view? The cat is being very helpful by getting you to concentrate on it and it's needs, rather than whatever silly human thing you were trying to do.

Never forget how the cats organized human society, posing as gods and whatnot, to put up all those granaries to assure an easy supply of small rodents. Darwin may have been right 10,000 years ago, but the last 5,000 years have been brains all the way.
