The agita directed at three recent articles, published by Forbes, the Times, and Refinery29, is much less about the articles themselves and much more about the era and the nation we live in: http://nyer.cm/XNTCAM1 pic.twitter.com/4DTxvjRRZW

If by “Self Made”, they mean, “ in a laboratory by a team of Board Certified Plastic Surgeons”, then sure, she’s self made.

How does one become self-made without actually doing anything?

Or maybe the premise of that cover is just nonsense. You aren't "self made" when you start with millions and have a family with more millions promoting your brand

A friend of mine, a very successful 34 year old woman, who started her own company with $1200, and is now worth around $20 million 5 years later was disgusted with that cover, it made her feel like a failure

Self-made?? LOL! Come the fuck on. This is a joke, right? Even @Forbes can't be this daft. I suppose the think @realDonaldTrump was "self-made" as well? LOL!

Interesting that to most millennials, the negative concept of “selling out” does not exist in their mindset. Tacking your name onto a corporate brand is now seen as the epitome of personal success.

Truly an aspiration goals for market driven mediocre Indians who are already millionaires for no reason whatsoever. Very much nurtured by casteist feudal state that vehemently acted as guardians of entitlements while squatters in sanctum vacuum pour in quid quo pro blessing
