        Only West Africans could work in the mosquito infested plantations. The West chose slavery as the way to get them there. It could have chosen cheap fares and the promise of a better life and the people would have gone freely. It was all about money and it still is.

        Perhaps a more pertinent and germane inquiry is how the TRILLION DOLLAR SEX SLAVE ECONOMY in 2018 (aka "pimping") materially differs from past forms of SLAVERY and why there is no societal protection for those subjugated in the here and now.
