Donald Trump and his far-right fellow-travellers have vigorously exploited the neutrality of social-media platforms. The President is unlikely to try to delegitimize the social-media giants in the way that he has sought to discredit professional journalism http://nyer.cm/5bfjrbT pic.twitter.com/m00hC8jm3L

Could some of you professional journalists tell us whether or not Ex cop JEN MOORE - FOUND DEAD IN DC HOTEL YESTERDAY - really DID or DIDN'T file papers w/FBI and ICE that Bill Clinton raped a boy & passed him around on a yacht? Or is this story BS?https://truepundit.com/investigative-journalist-found-dead-in-d-c-hotel-room-weeks-after-reporting-bill-clinton-to-fbi-dhs-for-allegedly-raping-boy/ …

Because IF exFBI whistlsblower ROBYN GRITZ' really had a exCop whistleblowing friend who turned up dead after whistleblowing to the FBI, THEN THAT IS REAL NEWS that might otherwise might not get covered. That's why we shouldn't silence sites bc we object to their narratives.

The only involvement I had is the police had my information to assist in locating next of kin. They called me. No further involvement. Jenny obviously knew she didn’t have many people to pick from for her emergency poc. That’s all.

except he's still here on twitter as this magazine retweets him. This keeps him in the news cycle? no such thing as bad publicity...

The joke of this article is that the author advocates VOTING as a way to silence Jones but the majority of people - mostly libertarians - who are coming to his defense don't even vote. I love the new yorker and I subscribe but this is embarrassing and not worthy of your standards

He is not the unconventional right - he is an extremist hate monger who advocates violence against children. And private companies deciding to not give him a platform is not an infringement on free speech. FUCK ALEX JONES. Good riddance.

The "neutrality" of social media lasted about 2 minutes after it was invented, after which it became the megaphone of every wingnut on both sides of every argument.

Net neutrality is the issue we all seem to be sleeping on. What are we gaining by giving it up?

No, but by banning net neutrality he's opened an avenue for centralized control over the flow of 'facts'@CBSNews
