In “White Fragility,” Robin DiAngelo sets aside a whole chapter for the self-indulgent tears of white women, so distraught at the country’s legacy of racist terrorism that they force people of color to drink from the firehose of their feelings about it.http://nyer.cm/Hg2OBq9

I swear they should teach this book in high school & college. White people should be ashamed of their cowardice in facing the realities about themselves as much as the racism they perpetuate. Before ya'll @ me, I am white.

Sad to see in the comments that white fragility is alive and kicking. Even in a page that is supposed to attract intellectual readers..

It's impossible to disagree with anything Robin DiAngelo asserts (often without evidence) because it *automatically* makes you guilty of "white fragility" in the bubble DiAngelo & her cult live in.

It's an absolutely perfect system for DiAngelo - she is NEVER wrong. Agree with her, and you're a racist. Disagree with her and you have "white fragility" AND you're a racist. She cannot lose and she makes a very nice living, while not improving race in the US at all.

In an article a few years ago DiAngelo blamed white women, living now, for the death of Emmet Till. What DiAngelo is promoting is ethnic revenge based on the presumption of ethnic collective guilt. She avoids being attacked by the Right by targeting women & liberals.
