In “BlacKkKlansman,” Spike Lee’s point is clear: the radical racist right was, forty years ago, on the ropes, and it was allowed to come back stronger than ever.http://nyer.cm/0VydnZw

I think it all goes back farther than that. In addition to the Klan we had a huge Nazi fifth column in the U.S. during the late 20s and through the 30s. They went silent when we entered WWII but we never did anything to root them out. They re-emerged in the 50s.

America is a state of mind, a consciousness, a oneness. Either it continuously evolves in it's understanding of universal Life, Truth, Love or it devolves into error which ultimately eliminates itself thru suffering.

It’s quite curious that the New Yorker devotes half of its coverage to racial tension and hatred, yet only a fraction to the issue that is affecting hundreds of millions of black AND white people: a rapidly-deteriorating standard of living.https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/personalfinance/2017/10/06/why-half-of-americans-cant-come-up-with-400-in-an-emergency/106216294/ …

Hey Spike: As repugnant as we may find some things, we have a constitution that guarantees free speech and assembly to all. That is what makes this country great in spite of those who would like to curtail it in their favor whether it be on the left or right!

Spike lee is an angry man who will stay angry and trapped in the past forever. The future is @RealCandaceO and empowerment to those who want it.

She’s not dumb. She’s clear in her message. She’s got her facts straight and she’s sick of being called a victim. She’s taken ownership of who she is and where she’s going. Her position made her popular, her popularity didn’t change her position.

Spike Lee is the most clever of giant intellects. To spell the title with three Ks. Brilliant. To name the movie as an oxymoron. Brilliant. We’re all so impressed. (For you libs taking this seriously don’t it’s sarcasm.)
