All true. I sympathize with exhausted attendants, but airlines have deliberately lowered service standards. There are bad passengers, of course. No attendant should be abused. But it’s been years since I have been on any airline with good service.

Re-regulate. They are acting as a cartel. Break 'em up, charge them with violation of anti-trust laws, and crack down on anti-competitive practices. This is capitalism at it's worst.

I stopped flying pre 9-11 b/c United Shuttle could not get me up & down the California coast. Mishap after mishap, “bad weather,” flight delayed, flight cancelled, “your seat is no longer available,” (on Thanksgiving), “we can get you there at 3am” (for conference at 7am), etc.
