        From my experience, actually doing the exercise not only strengthens the physical body but also strengthens the psyche. Makes me feel like I care about myself & have the will-power to do it.

        The article is actually really interesting in that respect. A drug that was able to regulate cholesterol, insulin and fat was shelved because of cancer concerns.

        besides possible association with tumors/ cancer, you have to worry about the quality. it's unregulated so you don't actually know what you're getting, and whether it's tainted with impurities/ heavy metals, etc.
