It's not just the constant fees..it's the complete disinterest in providing a decent travel inexperience for their customers...including getting you to your destination in time.

Drive, avoid the airports, and enjoy the journey, if you can avoid flying. Avoid airport travel! ✈ You'll be more comfortable and safe in your car! 💺

Car travel is much less safe than air travel, just FYI

There are many benefits to driving instead of flying : less stress being top of my list, which is safer for me. 🧠https://laurenfix.com/article/drive-dont-fly-top-five-advantages-driving-vs-flying/ …

There were 37,461 vehicle deaths in 2016 compared to zero deaths from air accidents. Americans have a 1 in 114 chance of dying in a car crash, compared to 1 in 9,821 in a plane. You might *feel* safer, but it's not.

Reading this in Paris airport awaiting 8 hr flight in coach to JFK. Flight to Paris was 6 hrs of red eye hell. Coach seat barely reclined and no place to rest head for sleep. Took off at 11 pm & cabin lights up & dinner served at 1am? Didn’t sleep a wink. Arrived in Paris 🤢👎

But surely the airlines want to create the most seamless of luxury experience for its customers. It just sound business sense . Tweet 'em xxxx well to keep 'em keen . 😋😩😵

Fly Southwest! No, I am not a paid spokesperson, but it's usually the least bad option for domestic US travel. No checked bag or change of ticket fees. They have reduced their leg room over the years on their single class flights, but it's still not as bad as most of the others.

What in the hell kind of twisted, greedy logic is this? "What is the problem with JetBlue? "It is an overly brand-conscious and customer focused-airline," Becker wrote. This essentially summarizes Wall Street's view of Barger."

I think not only US airlines want make you suffer, european ones too... 12h nonstop from germany to L.A. was bearable for me only with the extra legroom economy seat row, yet the seats sucked...(Lufthansa 747).

A correct segmentation of your customers always brings you more money. If the number of customers, who want to pay the extra fee for larger seats and more space for legs, would be higher, also the planes would be configurated in accordance with the demand..
