The Democratic Socialists of America makes few decisions without agonizing over them, and arguments for and against Cynthia Nixon, who is challenging Governor Andrew Cuomo in New York’s Democratic primary, cropped up in meetings, group texts, and letters: http://nyer.cm/Kt3fGpn pic.twitter.com/vBbmwHZZoT

This swing to the extreme left in the Dems is worrying. Sanders. Ocasio-Cortez. If Nixon wins too I’ll have no choice but return to GOP. Trump’s a wrecking ball and the GOP are enabling him, but could be malleable. Leftist ideologues will ruin us because of misguided beliefs.

Oh no people might have healthcare better run to the reasonable alternative of *checks notes* killing children for crossing a border.

The qualifications required for the job far exceed mere enthusiasm or fame.

The media is pinning the "Democratic Socialist" label on Democrats. Sanders is not a Democrat. He's about where the Democrats were 30 years ago, when their base was the white working class. Where Hillary missed the boat.

Yuck. I hope that New York is in a better state than to elect this dummy.

Fine, New York is a liberal state but please do not elect anything near this walking and talking joke of a human being. She is literally an actress and a stupid one at that.

Granted, she lost but even the idea is absurd.
