“In the nineties in Australia, eating out was for a lucky few, and synonymous with fancy French fare. For the rest of us, restaurants meant Sizzler.” What, a load, of nonsense. Utter claptrap.

@NewYorker@Grangerandco Sorry to tell you, in#Chile, we've been eating smashed avocado on bread for + 50 years. Mr.Granger didn't invent it. A couple of tips: The best way to smash it is w/ a fork, not a knife, the best bread to have it on is fresh French bread, and a hot dog! Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. Wow! Us poor Aussies couldn't eat out in the 90s unless we were one of the lucky few? That's crazy laughable! Cafe culture was thriving in the 80s. I had favourites on rotation for lunching with friends, shopping, cinema, shopping, coffee with friends, dates & of course shopping.
