So cool. Just wish the inventor had not also developed tech that increased the torture & murder of dairy cows & their babies. To do so much good on the one hand & cause so much agony & death on the other...

Wind shear at those heights will flatten the crops and blow the topsoil away. You'll blanket the city with a cloud of dust. Nice try, city boy.

Had you actually read the article, you'd know the system uses a type of cloth, not soil. And I only skimmed through it.

What about wind shear and the crops? Got an answer for that, Reader Boy?

I hear there are ways to deflect wind. I'm glad we aren't face to face. You seem like a rude person.

If we had more of these in urban areas maybe we wouldn't need those Yahoo Redneck Farmers in the Fly Over States 👍👊😉

Comments like that is why people in rural areas vote to spite urban areas.

That and because we believe in a completely different way of life than they do. 😉 Farmers feed our bellies but the Cities create Wealth & Innovation.

I think I saw this type of farming about 30 years ago at Epcot center on Disneyworld. Seriously. It was billed as the future of farming.

Or, we could just quit growing grain, turning it into meat, and then wasting half the meat. Or quit over-eating. Or quit turning fields into cheap houses while many cities are nearly empty. Or... well, you get the idea.
