Why should Kavanaugh be asked about any of that? His job is to judge the case before him against the Constitution and relevant laws as written, not to impose his views, or to provide outcomes favorable to you (or to me). Congress makes the law, not the courts. I hope this helps.

If he "must" be asked about anything, it's his judicial philosophy, particularly how he views the role of the courts: Are they a nine-robe dictatorship? Or merely lawyers who JUDGE the law rather than creating it?
