Two new polls suggest that the President standing next to his Russian counterpart and publicly questioning U.S. intelligence findings about Russian interference in the 2016 election didn’t change anything much. http://nyer.cm/KQvJQf4

If you are not changed by the sight of Trump standing next to Putin to think the lesser of Trump, what kind of American are you?

Other polls suggest the opposite. In Q-poll Trump is in a 20-point hole, 58-38 disapproval.

The line in the sand has been drawn. On one side those who are ok with racism, corruption and profiterring regardless of it's future costs and those on the other side who put decency, a faithfulness to the truth and a duty to preserve the planet above personal gain.

Yes, he still has 80+% of Republicans. But voters who identify as Republican is rapidly dwindling. That 80% represents less than 25% of likely voters.

national polls are meaningless, democrats and trump opposition lead those consistently, but lose because elections are local. with gerrymandering and voter suppression the gop has far too many state and local elections rigged to their advantage.

It also points to the stupidity of humankind and our inability to accept compromises, common and middle grounds. Is there hope that we can really make this place better?
