I love Di Angelo!

Thanks, Nikesh, just saw this excellent piece myself and have ordered book. Very timely.

My own riff on this term based on ongoing experience is Weaponised White Fragility: where it's actively turned into a further weapon of harrassment and denigration.
-
You need to trademark it! Would you ever write about it for the good journal?

-
Yes, why not, in due course! I'm trying to take time out to read and reflect this summer.
-
i shall see if you are free for issue 3! Thank you. And enjoy the time off. (Both of you.)

But I’m still not sure why a white woman wud kno more about racism than just letting POC explain what it’s like and listening. 2/2
-
Because people of colour have been saying all this for ions and aren’t being heard and are being dismissed. Maybe if a fellow white person says it, the pill be easier to swallow. That’s just the reality we live in.

Gosh, The New Yorker used to be rigorous journal. Now reads as house magazine for far left in various manifestation. When it talks of “racism” it’s dog whistling and attacking Europeans. Reading this you feel these fanatics would concentrate “white” people into re-education camps

Insecure much?

Get. Out. Of. New. York. Every. Once. In. A. While. Good lord, I have lived in Texas, Minnesota, Florida, Illinois, Oklahoma, Japan, and Singapore. I know almost nobody who feels like this outside friends and family in coastal cities.
