The videos are shakily produced—shot by the rightfully indignant, who, in a matter of minutes, have realized that they must take up the role of gonzo filmmaker in order to protect reputations, freedoms, and, potentially, lives.http://nyer.cm/sGM5SS5

Challenges and dangers of living #WhileBlack have been told via videos, while exposing American racism in its natural habitat: Every door on which hinges shriek and paranoid intensity surges as a White nightmare comes to life upon the entrance of a Black person onto life’s stage.pic.twitter.com/Z4uYC8ABKk

Seems we've had it backwards - the body cams needed to be on the people, not the police.

All of America needs to let it sink in that everyone is not equal. People of color being chided, derided, and targeted by a lot of do-nothing low wage white people who think they are superior. This is Trump's base. These are the people reasonable candidates will never reach.

This is their mindset: President Lyndon B. Johnson once said, "If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you."

So much pathos here. The terror in his shaking muscles, making the most of a diminutive job - the woman on the other side being shamed. Maybe racism is just that- pathetic. Terrified people, at time rageful - other times shaking with fear - and their victims. Victims of terror.

Racism results from underachieving white people feeling "threatened" by more successful and enterprising people of color. It's shortcomings syndrome.

Sometimes. Other time it's people who feel so rageful about their own vulnerability that they are desperate to find people even more vulnerable on whom they can spread the pain. It's an ugly - horrific process. For me that video captures it at its most pathetic.
