With his Nelson Mandela Lecture in Johannesburg on Tuesday, Barack Obama offered the sharpest possible contrast between himself and his successor—between statesman and demagogue.http://nyer.cm/ZDc67Ev

It's bittersweet when I hear about @BarackObama . It just illustrates how far we've veered off the course. (To put it in terms @realDonaldTrump can understand: someone else punched the green for you but all you can do is shank the shot.)

Nah, he just spoke out against racism and ignorance. It just so happens that Trump is great at those two things.

It's a really compelling 'lecture' by Pres Obama. Even as the proverbial hope 'n change politician, he doesn't pussyfoot around the gravity of our situation. (I always found his optimism somewhere between admirable and disconcerting) You, whoever you are, you should check it out

His policies, saving Wall Street at expense of middle/low income, half hearted healthcare plan paved the way for his successor. And like the true weakling he is, he pulled a Dixie chicks and saved his tough act for an overseas crowd. Whuss.

Yep, that's it. I don't like Obama, so I must be a Trump supporter. And comparing him to the worst example of a modern president means Obama must have been REALLY great. Don't bother replying.

Kudos. Your last tweet showed more intelligence and thought than your first. You should use ellipses more often; they convey your thoughts better than actual words.

Just because you have a calm demeanor doesn't mean you're a statesman. The words you say have to mean something and this Marxist dirtbag, who perpetuated a crime that makes Watergate look like jaywalking before he left office, sounds a lot like a demagogue to me.
