Come November, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is almost certain to become the youngest woman ever elected to Congress. Will her democratic-socialist identity push the Party to the left? http://nyer.cm/QcgYi0M pic.twitter.com/kY44yPC9Tz

Hate to say it, but she’s being manipulated by @SenSanders. Needs to stand on her own.

As a former WaHi resident of 20 years, I'm watching this race from L.A. with great interest, and am only sorry I can no longer VOTE in NYC ... @Ocasio2018 will get it done, I've no doubt! I will, however, will be using her as an example as I teach U.S. history & gov't. #hope

I’m not sure about pushing the party left, but her foreign policy expertise will serve them well.

The population of the 14th Congressional District of NY is 691,715....which is 0.21% of the entire population of America.... She is not that impt in the grand picture of what is happening to our country right now. She won't affect my life at all. Sick of the media coverage.

No. Her views are only relevant in certain liberal pockets. Moderate democrats will prevail in the majority of districts.

The party embraces the far left as well as centrists. Only conservatives who want to weaken the party declare the party is in turmoil.
