The judge in the Trump Foundation case seemed frustrated, even confused, that the Trumps were fighting the case at all. At one point, she told a lawyer for the Trump children that they should just settle out of court and agree to one of the sanctions.http://nyer.cm/bAd5dsj

Settle the Trump Charity proven fraud case out of court suggests the judge? Isn't there any accountability?Trump always seems to personally financially come out ahead w/ these settlements, similar to Trump University being judged a fraud, victims get settlements & DT still makes $

By all means please compare the two! But do it by using their 990 tax return and not memes you found on the internet.... 🤦🏻‍♀️ @CharityNav and @GuideStarUSA are both great resources to find this info :)

Better in Trump's world not to admit guilt but to have a judge declare it -- that way he can fight, postpone, delay, etc. Just the usual.

The Trumps want to lose in court that way they can play the victim, and say they are innocent and the court was biased.

I guess they’d say “Trumps never settle lawsuits”. (except of course Senior’s fraud University case)

They use the foundation as a financing conduit and for money laundering. They would lose that if they settle. They are going to lose it anyway.

Why on heaven's earth would the Trumps *not want to settle asap? They really want him to sit down in court and commit serial perjury? So worried about Mueller but here they go and force his testimony themselves? Not getting it, honestly.

A cash settlement isn’t enough punishment for this corrupt family. They should serve time behind bars for their criminal activity. Maybe they could learn a little about humility.

This is NY Civil Court hence judges suggestion, not in criminal..yet! “The Attorney General(NY) made clear that her evidence could support criminal cases against the Trumps, but she has no jurisdiction to bring such charges, since tax and campaign fraud are federal matters.”
