Republicans sought to put Peter Strzok, the F.B.I. deputy assistant director, on the griddle before the cameras in a joint hearing. But it was they and their President who got burned.http://nyer.cm/c1XZpNS

Kudos to Peter Strzok for fighting back to try and preserve our Democracy. This is all about Trump trying to stop or discredit the Mueller Investigations. Why? Trump has repeatedly claimed he's innocent of any wrong doing, so why all the drama and backhanded actions ?

Everything Comey and the FBI did during 2016 hurt HRC to the benefit of Trump. Stozok or Page could have leaked that the FBI was investigating Trump about colluding with Russia, which would have been devastating for Trump. They didn't, which destroys their conspiracy theory.

#PeterStrzok Agent Peter Strzok is a patriot - it takes integrity to stand in front of congress and tell the truth to those that want to hear a different story.

I regret to say congressional Republicans are paper tigers, too soft to be "inquisitors." Now if you want the portrait of a Grand Inquisitor Torquemada-like figure, may I suggest Special Counsel Mueller?!

I agree with you. But I've also read some of the Republican feeds ... it is so strange. They report having succeeded in completely vindicating themselves and making S look silly. I've watched the video and to believe their take, you'd have to very confused, but many do anyway.

In what way? Kind of like HRC during the hours of Benghazi hearings. Lots of posturing by Republicans but no evidence beyond conspiracy theories. Wouldn't it be interesting to see 6 hours of testimony of Trump with Mueller? Now Trump is someone who would bring his own rope.
