Yeah, Obama didn't know about this until it was too late. What a load of crap. These maps have been available publicly for years. All he had to do was google. Eg http://ifamericaknew.org/about_us/4maps.html …

You know. As much as this looks fragmented, the Israeli settlers have problems reaching one another too...

Your comparison is silly. The Palestinians were never there as a people. They lived just like Jews under the British Mandate or the Jordanian Kingdom. Why should they be an entity of their own on Israeli land gotten by a war imposed on us?

So, should the UK be allowed to annex, eg, Normandy since the 'Normans' where never there as a people? They lived there under the French state. There would be enough of France left for all the French-speaking 'Normans' to move to, so the UK could settle its people in Normandy.

Israel is the land of the Jewish people. Especially Jericho, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Shilo and all of the places where Jews have been dwelling for 3000 years. Do the Brits have any connection to that land?

        Replying to @ChachaBoo8 @kcorriga12 and

Sure, the Normans were the last 'group' to successfully invade Great Britain (in 1066) and take over the government and replacing the ruling class. Thus Normandy represented the origin of the rulers of Great Britain.

There are two states, Isreal and Jordan. Always have been since 1948

Sure, and one of the two states conquered part of the territory of the other (containing maybe a third of its population) and is settling its own citizens in that area and containing the existing population there in enclaves without giving them voting rights.

So the people living in the West Bank should be punished forever because of a decision made by leaders half a century ago?

Maybe they should stop chucking missiles at isreal, send burning kites over and ieds disguised as balloons. Hamas receives £45 mill in aid, spend it such

You do realise that this discussion is essentially about the West Bank? You yourself referred to Jordan and Israel. The Gaza Strip was never part of Jordan. There are no missiles or burning kites in the West Bank.

So there’s never been suicide bombers from the West Bank. That’s the reason it’s there in the first place.

And would Israel have given the inhabitants of the West Bank full citizen rights if there hadn't been any Intifada? And how did Israel treat the West Bank in the 20 years of occupation before the first Intifada started?
