We’ll be seeing the flag everywhere this week, and that could be depressing since for some Americans this is not the best year to think about our flag and what it is coming to represent. So maybe we could think instead about a flag from another time.http://nyer.cm/5GHmrn7

I agree. A strong economy and record employment, especially for blacks and Hispanics, are way too depressing. Let’s all hop on the Bill Maher train and dream of a job killing recession so we can really celebrate the 4th next year.

For shame New Yorker! You represent the tyranny that my courageous forefathers fought against over 200 years ago! Take your anti-American anti-flag sentiments and stuff it!

Nothing more patriotic than retaking our country. WalMart pulled the "Impeach 45" shirt due to Trumpie pressure. Order here and we'll donate 50% of the purchase price to elect Democrats in November. I don't see a fabric flag. I see 13 founding colonies that set forth the daring working papers for a nation, not a kingdom. I see 50 states full of people who have struggles & hopes & dreams, some despite the horrors inflicted upon them now & through history. I fight for them.

Bullshit @NewYorker We are the luckiest people on earth to call the flag ours. @realDonaldTrump may be imbalanced but we have nothing to be depressed about except some of our politicians.
