Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s victory in New York’s Fourteenth Congressional District proves again that the Democratic establishment is as weak as the Republican one that caved so easily to right-wing outsiders during the Obama years: http://nyer.cm/1Jleghv pic.twitter.com/pjVYqoa0um

LOL. No. It proves that @Ocasio2018 worked her shoes off going door to door to get signatures and then votes. She's smart, engaging, driven and right for her district. There are many other candidates with similar politics who have lost. What we DO know is all politics is local.

The @NewYorker will bend light to smear the Democrats when ever possible. Our center held in 16. We still like our values. Bernie is running 5 pts behind unnamed ‘generic Democrat’ in NH poll. @NewYorker accounts for this how exactly? Or not at all.

Even 2016 doesn’t support the premise of a hollow Dem party. Our center held, unlike GOP. Since then polling puts Bernie 5 pts behind unnamed Dem in NH. That is not even remotely similar to the GOP.

Here is the latest installment of the (checks notes) “Democrats in disarray” think pieces. Boring.

Why do y’all keep pushing this as some great victory? What I see is very low turnout and once again the few decide for the many...@TheDemocrats @NancyPelosi @SenSchumer All we ever hear from the #media when it comes to Democrats is criticism but they suck up to Donald Trump folk

Wait, so you’re saying in a solidly Democratic district, in the NE, with a disproportionately liberal voter base, it’s possible for someone to work their butt off and knock off a milquetoast, off the radar incumbent? I’m shocked 😒.pic.twitter.com/bealjYvOV9
