What utter rubbish, Germany needed two goals. The risk was worth it. Unfortunately it didn’t work out.

Est-ce moi ou c’est nono comme analyse,
@patleduc15@MarcCassivi ? Le gardien s’est avancé pour tenter l’égalisation avec quelques minutes à jouer, alors perdre 1 ou 2 à zéro... -
Il a eu l’air un peu fou, mettons. Mais il n’avait pas tort de jouer le tout pour le tout...
-
Ben, voilà. Il a eu l’air fou, pour aider son club qui a pas été capable de la mettre dedans
#CessezDeBullyerLesGardiens!

And that no one asked us to write it. Because we could've done a far funnier story.

Oh hey guys, look, an article written by someone with no idea what was going on at the end of that game. Neuer was the least of Germany’s problems and he came forward because they were already fucked. Thanks for the brilliant commentary though

What disaster? You need to score two goals to stay in the tournament and you are already in injury time. Of course you're going to come forward!

What a very odd comment. It’s a standard tactic in desperate times. There was nothing to lose. Did you even watch the match?

Not really, Germany were heading out in at that time and its usual practice for keepers to go up but usually for set plays. You may as well lose 2-0 if 1-0 puts you out. The real error was made when the throw in was directed to him. They were poor in that game though.
