Fascinating perspective though yikes, the writer could use a bit more affection when dealing with this genre! The film brought into perspective the disenfranchised outcasts of society for being different. Simple people just wanting to get by in life, yet ...

Politics got in their way and now they’re forced into hiding for repercussions of simply existing. (ring a bell to our current world?) that’s what made the film superb. Though again, fascinating perspective.
