On the Texas side of the Mexican border today, thousands of children, by order of the Trump Administration, are learning what it is to be objects of deliberate state-sponsored cruelty.http://nyer.cm/DsjbYEU

It was these children and their parents who I thought of while listening to my grandchildren play and tell me about their day at dinner. They deserve to be together like my family, the families of my friends and neighbors & the families of this Congress and this administration.

Is it "too soon" to compare Trump with Hitler still, as many people yet claim? I mean, he's got children forcibly separated from their parents and thrown into literal concentration camps, held hostage for his political agenda. He's no president; he's a terrorist. #FuckTrump

It’s because of such policies that the US has decided to leave the UN Human Rights Council. It wants to continue with such policies and not be accused of hypocrisy. So to overcome such an accusation, it has decided to leave the Council, rather than get rid of the policy.

You do realise that foreign journalists are reporting on this? Eg it’s headline news on the BBC and other stations in Britain, with live reportage? Just saying.

No, the cruelty was by the left, which encouraged their parents to try and crash border, and their parents, who subjected them to a long, dangerous, illegal journey to be used as tools for emotional blackmail.

No different than the 400,000 American kids in foster care on an given day. Usually when parents choose to break the law and are arrested and jailed things don't go so well for the kids. What's new?

Why are parents in prison or jail separated from their kids, yet you want law breakers that aren’t even citizens, to not be separated. What does the loony left want? Resorts for them? Should disney open a free resort for them?

They are not dangerous criminals. They are seeking a better life for their families. Crossing the border illegally is a MISDEMEANOR. Have you no heart???

I have a heart. I’d rather see all of them here, especially with most of them being Catholic, then all the evil atheist and leftist scum that is so up in arms about their own choice to come here knowing they could be turned away, deported eventually or separated.
