I loved it...

I loved this movie too. I cried my eyes out at the end. My girls warned me I would. Tradition & family is a beautiful thing.
-
Likewise. It's a wonderful movie with a powerful message. I was watching it two days ago on Netflix. :) I cried, too.
-
When I was in Paris last October we went to the Disneyland nearby. They had one of their sections decorated as though you were in the movie. All the characters and beautiful colors.
-
Oh, wow! The colors are so vibrant and beautiful ... I think I read somewhere that the director of the movie lived 5 years in Mexico? He loved it. And I saw on TV the one who made the guitar. Wow. Incredible.
-
They had an exact replica of the guitar. Now I have to look for the photos I took to show you.
-
Oh, please! Thank you! :)

Best movie of the year.
-
Gets pretty dark half way through. Really liked it.
-
It's darkness is its power, beauty and impact. I was impressed they didnt sugarcoat the darker themes. If it doesnt take you there it would never payoff like it does.

I saw it more as the ultimate ‘never meet your idols’ warning tale

This is a DISGUSTING movie that tries to lure kids into necromancy! Then, they have the nerve to ask these new souls to request petitions from their ancestors to open the border! They need to pull this trash off the shelves!

Its about not following the rules and the repercussions like illegally crossing the border and having your poor kids taken from you.. We need laws and borders or half of South America would be playing soccer in your living room in chaos

FYI, the day of the dead "tradition" started around 2012 when the Aztec calendar expired. It is nothing but a contrived falsehood meant to perpetuate fear. Remember that if you ever see one of those psychos walking around in full makeup, pretending to be a ghost.
-
Wow, you're really ignorant about the tradition
