All these many years later it is highly encouraged to talk, sing and read to young children. #MrRogers knew this important lesson 50 years ago. Please parents, continue his legacy.

Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood ran right smack in the middle of Gen X. I was born in ‘75 and absolutely grew up with it. Also, how is Gen X emotionally inept, exactly?

My daughter told me the other day that she never watched him growing up because I taught her the stranger danger rule. She considered Mr. Roger a stranger. She didn't like his sweater either.
