Fred Rogers wanted television to value children’s feelings, to encourage listening and respect, and to express something about human dignity: http://nyer.cm/Dvn6t7R pic.twitter.com/K5LLNUGu0u

He sure did miss some important lessons! If Mr. Rogers were alive today he would have scolded Trump for calling Neo-Nazis very fine people. In fact, Mr. Rogers was the original OG and sued the motherf*ckin’ Klan!! 💪🏼❤️pic.twitter.com/YxzagLDuRC

Millenial Entitlement? Mr. Rogers spent years telling little creeps that he liked them just the way they were. He should have been telling them there was a lot of room for improvement. As nice as he was, and as good as his intentions may have been, he did a disservice.

I wonder what such a gentle soul like Fred Rogers would do today given how the Trumpistas and Trump’s Alt-Reich deal with little kids?
