I can only claim to be Winnipeg Icelandic - not Winnipeg Jewish as well - but I recognize the glory of the combination of the author's wife's Canadian roots. This article made me smile, proudly. Canadian-like.

Hockey, poutine, diversity, immigrants, low crime rates, social solidarity, bilingualism (French and English) Quebec. Many PM’s came from this great province. Our potential bullies (Harper, Ford...) always manage to lead in the middle. Canuck (David) vs Donald (Goliath).
