Kaiser Wilhelm II was convinced that he was brilliant, despite all evidence to the contrary, at “personal diplomacy,” or fixing foreign policy through one-on-one meetings with other European monarchs and statesmen. (He was not). http://nyer.cm/YdvN77u

“The Kaiser viewed other people in instrumental terms, was a compulsive liar, and seemed to have a limited understanding of cause and effect.” And he was a wus. @realDonaldTrump in a nutshell. A timely reminder: Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it #TrumpRussia

Kim!s eyes just before work lunch, while standing & watching Trump play host. No trust whatsoever towards him & his (real) chaos. He figured him out to the T. I only hope his party would do the same & does something about it before it’s too late for the free world fragile safety

Emperor, King, Dictator, President. All the same, right? Still locked in 3rd grade recess. All you can see are bullies and teachers’ skirts. Taking turns at hiding, running, conceding or tattling. Great life.

Don't believe comparing POTUS to historical figures is still useful. Perhaps we should look at likely outcomes; if the current path continues within our children's lifetime the world power order might rank as: 1) China 2) India 3) EU 4) US (but still formidable nuclear power.)

What interesting punctuation. A) Period on the outside means: There's a sentence, and its entire contents are within parentheses. That is, 'Nothing to see here.' B) Period inside means: There is a sentence inside parentheses. That is, 'Here is a pertinent aside.' I'd go B).

Kaiser Wilhelm II's own grandmother couldn't stand him, in no small part for his cruelty. His grandmother was Queen Victoria of Great Britain.

I'd have thought one of your famous fact-checkers would have picked up on 'George V of England'. There has been no state with that name since 1707. You mean Great Britain, perhaps, or the United Kingdom?
