In the wake of the Trump Administration's cruel policy of separating children, George Packer recalls a story Dr. Ruth told about the Evian Conference, in 1938, where countries from around the world debated the plight of Germany’s Jews.http://nyer.cm/Hmt0aCE

Twitter needs an angry button and a cry button. We must do everything we can to stop the cruelty. To continue telling the stories of the children is one way.

Let’s be clear: it’s not ‘Trumps’ policy. It’s a Democrat policy, on the books since Clinton.

Children who came unaccompanied held a few days till family could be located is humane. Ripping accompanied children from their parents to teach those parents a lesson about seeking asylum is barbaric.

Leftists condone and cheer the slaughter of 600,000+ unborn humans in the USA each yet. And you have all these tears over a few people? Boo hoo. Life is hard. Border policy is hardly on par with the Nazi treatment of Jews - unless you are talking about abortionists.
