Bill Clinton, who can write, has hooked up with James Patterson, who can’t. This unlikely pact has resulted in “The President Is Missing,” which we must, not without reservations, describe as a thriller: http://nyer.cm/QjVxSiL pic.twitter.com/cYbAyfbFwI

morning New Yorker. Patterson can't write, eh? how would you explain more than 300 million book copies sold? must either have a pretty daft audience OR you just don't like his style. which is it?

Thank you. The first refreshingly honest review I've seen. There was almost one from @washingtonpost until they took it down.

I learned from the interview on pbs @NewsHour that the story is modern and dealing with possible scenarios which sounded like something that we should read given the daily onslaught of crap from the WH..

To be honest I’m quite satisfied with the book so far. It’s catchy enough and serves as a good chilling read through the day. Definitely not trash
