        Only in 2018, after years of decline and diminished expectations, would we call this a strong economy. It certainly works for the wealthy and privileged few, and the professionally comfortable. The rest are one bad week from poverty.

        On its face the economy is strong but its a paper tiger. Focus needs to be on lagging wages, and growth of the type of jobs promised, i.e. type one can raise a family on, and not produced. Don't be fooled with jobs that are part time, have no benefits and no real future.
