He viewed other people in instrumental terms, was a compulsive liar, and seemed to have a limited understanding of cause and effect. (We're talking about Kaiser Wilhelm II.)http://nyer.cm/IbKmEVv

I’ve been saying this for years. Trump’s closest historical analogy is The Kaiser. But don’t worry, the Kaiser only led Germany into losing one disasterous world war — which caused a second disasterous world war.

The idiot that sacked Von Bismarck and started a world war which led to another world war that led to a cold war and mideast crises and trouble all over the world till now. Somebody should have gone back in time to make sure this guy did not exist.

They just wanna call Trump Hitler, but don't wanna look like complete libtards, so they settled for Wilhelm the 2nd.

It was a Golden Age for Germany (economy, science, culture) for the most part of his rule.

As they say, "those who are ignorant of history are doomed to repeat it." Let's do are best not to go that way. As Miranda writes, "If international conflict is around the corner, it would seem that you really don’t want a narcissist in control of a global power"

There's a lot of bias, error, faulty interpretation, and mischarachterizarion in this little tabloid article you found fit to print. Wilhelm was by no means a great leader, but he was not so different from his contemporaries. A very anglocentric slant by the author on display.

Sounds like Trump to a T. Is he Kaiser Wilhelm reincarnated or is his behavior simply textbook despot?

Interesting thought. But Bismarck was actually a lot more moderate than Willy (at least on the things that would lead to the war, not necessarily domestically). Wasn't Bannon simply more extreme than the D across the board?
